A Filipino vegetarian-adaptable adobo-style dish featuring kangkong cooked in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, onion, and black pepper, with pork in the listed version.
Ingredients
cider vinegar | 1 | cupcup |
garlic, crushed | 4 | cloveclove |
black pepper | 1 | tbsptablespoon |
salt, rock | 1 | tspteaspoon |
kangkong, approximately | 1 | kgkilogram |
onions, medium, chopped | 1 | |
soy sauce | 3 | tbsptablespoon |
pork, chopped | 1 | cupcup |
tap water | 1 | cupcup |
Directions
1. Wash and drain Kangkong tops (use okra or string beans as substitutes) 2. Sauté Garlic, Pepper, Onion & Pork until brown 3. Add water and simmer until meat is tender 4. Add kangkong and soy 5. Add Vinegar when Kangkong is cooked
